Living Well with Parkinson’s

World Parkinson’s Day 2025

Parkinson’s 100

Friday 11th April 2025

Please join us for this exciting event at Fenton Manor Sports Complex from 10.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m.

Come for the whole day or just call in for as long as you can.

A day to showcase different activities and types of exercise and how this can help those with Parkinson’s to manage their condition.

You can join in with these sessions as you wish, so wear comfy clothing. There will also be a marketplace giving you access to essential support services, for example NHS healthcare teams, help and advice for carers, our very own stand and also a Parkinson’s UK stand. Basic free refreshments will be available and also a discount in the onsite Noreen’s cafe. Free car parking is available on site for the duration of the event.

The day has been organised by Stoke-on-Trent City Council in association with Living Well with Parkinson’s and Parkinson’s UK.

Welcome to Living Well with Parkinson’s.

We are here to help you live well and hopefully improve your PD symptoms.

Staying active helps to maintain your balance, strength and coordination.

We are a not-for-profit group whose aim is to assist those with Parkinson’s.

It has been clinically proven that exercise can help to alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson’s.

We support a number of activities that meet weekly at different times and in different locations in the city of Stoke-on-Trent.

You do not need to be sporty or wear special clothes to join in. Just comfy shoes and loose fitting clothes. Why not call in and have a go and hopefully you will feel the benefits.

We currently support a gym session, table tennis, ballet, guided exercise sessions and mountain biking.

We are looking for new ideas and are keen to develop other activities and link with other organisations. Please get in touch if you can offer any help.

Keeping active is key.
